London Sights Day 1: Big Ben by Wim

Big Ben

Big Ben is a big clocktower in London, the official name is ‘’Clock Tower’’. It’s renamed to Elizabeth Tower in 2012. The build of the tower was completed in 1859.
It is 96 metres high! The design and construction are amazing. The architect is Augustus Pugin. The clock tower takes place in Westminster, London, England, UK. The Big Ben is the largest of the tower’s five bells and weighs 13,5 long tons. It was the largest bell in the United Kingdom for 23 years. There is now a renovation.
